Agenda :

1.  Migration plan for MYREN Central 1 POP Cyberjaya  - Sharizan Sumuui, MYREN

MYREN Core network is interconnecting 7 Point of Presence (POP) and we are planning to relocate the most critical POP from Cyberjaya to the Ministry owned Data Centre near to KLIA. The migration involving the relocation of five upstream links, connectivity to 19 access sites with the total bandwidth of 8.8Gbps and the reorganizing of MYREN Core network links to fulfill the new network design requirement using the same budget ammount from Government. The migration is exppected to have zero core connectivity downtime and less than 24 hours Asi@Connect link downtime.

2.  NREN Updates - Gyanendra Maharjan , NREN , Rajan Parajuli, NREN

In order to expand TEIN network across Nepal, NREN is currently undertaking feasibility study. Recently, we have setup conferencing facilities in all the Provincial Municipal Learning Center (PMLC), which foster sharing between and among PMLCs and other development stakeholders. NREN is not only continuing its efforts to connect Nepalese communities with Global Development Learning Network (GDLN) and other development and clinical knowledge sharing platforms but also encouraging sharing at the national level - between hospitals, network engineers, and various development organizations. Most importantly, NREN is preparing for 49th APAN meeting in Kathmandu, which will be elaborated in the presentation.

3. IDRen status update in Indonesia by July 2019  - Basuki Suhardiman

The Inherent rebuild network called IDREN were initiative by several University such As University of Indonesia , University of Brawijaya , Sepuluh November Institute of Technology, University of Gajahmada and Insitute Teknologi Bandung as a gateway to NREN through the@Asia Connect /TEIN gateway. The Network was support by the Telco's Company , PT Telkom start with 10 University connected until more than 80 Universities connected to this network. And now IDREN becomes multi-operator cooperation with IDREN especially Telco and ISP (Internet Services Provider).

4.  KOREAN Update - Myunghee Kim

To meet the KOREN users’ needs in advanced network, 3 years of KOREN SDI Project which includes SDN/NFV transformation is ongoing. Since this is the last year of the project, we are mainly focused on 100% of user migration to SDI and providing NFV service to them.
This presentation provides current progress of the KOREN SDI project, mainly about NFV development status, updates in user portal and a big picture for future KOREN testbed

5.  Ruijie Innovation in education-Massive WiFi & IoT Era! How SDN & Big Data can help on efficient management? - Jackie Chen

In massive WiFi & IoT era. The campus networks of higher education should not only carry teaching and office business, but also support different Types of Service: Intelligent water/electricity meter, energy efficiency, multi-media classroom, door access control system, e-learning, CCTV, Etc. This presentation shows how Ruijie simplifies the complex networks and achieve superior experience and comprehensive visualization with SDN and Big Data.
