Prof. Suhaimi Napis was the Chief Technology Officer and Director of InfoComm Development Centre (iDEC) which he helped established in 2006 for a total of over 6 years until June 2012. Besides his engagement in Malaysian R&E network, identity & access federation, and teaching, he also contributes to be an Asia Pacific Partner towards the continuation of EGI-InSPIRE to become European Open Science Cloud (EOSC-Hub) under Horizon 2020. He is now involved in the EGI’s Disaster Mitigation Competency Centre Initiative headed by Academia Sinica Taiwan.
